Course Description:
Web based course that prepares students to understand the laws affecting pharmacies, processing medication orders in both retail and hospital settings, learn special rules required for controlled medications and administrative duties, and obtain a basic understanding of pharmacology in preparation for the ExCPT national pharmacy technician exam.

**Upon successful completion of the class, students may test to receive national certification as a Certified pharmacy technician. ** IF STUDENT FAILS TO TAKE THE CERTIFICATION EXAM, YOU MAY BE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY BACK THE COST OF THE PROGRAM.
