From the enthusiastic words of Coach Weinheimer, "It's a great day to be a badger."

I truly believe that. I grew up here in Lampasas and never really left. I began teaching 7th grade Texas history in the fall of 2013 in Copperas Cove. Eventually, I got certified to teach high school and made my way back to my high school alma mater, class of 2003. I began here in the fall of 2019 and have loved every minute. I teach US History, Dual Credit US History, OnRamps US History, and AP Govt./Eco. I have also been an adjunct US History professor at Central Texas College since 2019. I have a loving family, including two sons. They get the pleasure of growing up here and graduating in the class of 2025 and 2038. This a a wonderful school with great students and I look forward to teaching them every day.
Every year, no matter the circumstances, is a good year as long as you maintain a positive attitude and always do your best.
