Required Materials

Spiral Notebook (to leave in classroom file)
Writing Utensils (pen and pencil)

Additional Requirements:

  • Periods 1, 2 & 3: Paper Towels

  • Periods 5,7, 8 & 9: kleenexes

Grading Policy

Tests/Quizzes/Projects = 50%

⥇Quizzes & Notebook checks will be entered into the gradebook 1X.

⥇Tests & Projects will be entered into the gradebook 2X.

Classwork / Activities = 50%

Grades can be checked at any time on skyward and will be updated on a weekly basis.  Please check your grades often to ensure you’re keeping up with assignments and I’m entering them correctly :).

Assignment Procedures

Late Work

  • The highest grade you may receive on late work is a 50%. In order to receive full credit, the assignment may be complete in tutoring session.

  • Assignments will only be accepted ONE WEEK after the due date.

Absent Work

  • If you are absent when work is due, it is due the very day you return, or if you were absent when the work was assigned, it is due the following school day after you return. You are responsible for viewing the lesson plans or seeing me BEFORE OR AFTER SCHOOL to get make-up work.

  • The number of consecutive days you are absent – you will have that same number of days to complete assignment.  (ex. If you are absent 2 days in a row, you will have 2 days to complete it.

  • A link to my lesson plans is posted on my teacher website. They are projections of what we will be covering in class.  I update them daily to reflect any changes or additional assignments we did or may do.

Tests

  • Tests will be taken when you are present unless PRIOR arrangements have been made.

Classroom Guidelines

ABSOLUTELY NO food.  Drinks must sealed securely by a solid lid.

Restroom, Office, Counselor, Library passes will only be issued with E Hall pass only

Any visible cellphone will taken up and turned into the attendance office.

Tutoring Hours

Wednesday AFTER SCHOOL until 4:30pm
OR by request
