ACADEMIC INTEGRITY:

All students at Lampasas High School are expected to conduct themselves with great pride in academics and the community at large. To this end, it is expected that all students will maintain academic integrity in every assignment. Work must be completed individually unless otherwise directed by the teacher. Plagiarism is a severe offense and will result in immediate consequences.

The first day of class, I will put you in a seating chart.  You may assume, that unless I change your seating, this is your seat for the remainder of the school year.

    • What do you do when entering and leaving the room?
      • Entering:  Get some hand sanitizer on your way in the door, find your seat and check for your STAAR and Bell Ringer Activities in Canvas.
      • Exiting:  DO NOT WAIT at my door!  I will dismiss you or you will have an exit ticket to dismiss you from class.
  • YOU MUST HAVE YOUR CHROMEBOOK EVERY DAY, CHARGED!
  • Tardy Policy
    • If my door is closed, you must go to the attendance window and get a pass to be admitted into the room.  The student handbook indicates when too many tardies will result in ISS or another consequence.

EXTRA CREDIT DAILY WORK - on occasions throughout the school year, I will offer extra daily grades for things as simple as extra supplies to be used in class by all classmates.

  1.  EXTRA TEST GRADES - When students read OPTIONAL, approved historical fiction books and write a minimum of a 2 page book summary, it will be used as an ADDITIONAL test grade.  Please see the Extra Credit Book List or Extra Credit Movie List for already approved books and movies.  Some hard copies are available as well.  These summaries will need to be turned in during the study of the Era the novel is referencing, IE:  "Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett = Middle Ages/ Unit 4 through the Link in the module.   Continually check the book list for new options.
